Jesus also took bread, and after giving thanks, he broke it and gave it to them  saying:" This is my body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me". And he did the same with the cup after eating," this is the cup of the New Covenant, sealed in my blood which is poured out for you".

Requirements

 

  • First Communion is a two-year PSR preparation, as required by the Archdiocese of Atlanta. If your child attended Religion classes at a different parish, please bring a letter from that Church verifying attendance.

  • You will need to turn in your child’s Baptismal Certificate along with the First Communion Sacramental Form. If your child was baptized at St. Theresa’s you will still need to provide us with a copy of their baptismal certificate. 

  • All children receiving their First Communion must attend weekly Sunday Mass.
