COUNCIL OF CATHOLIC WOMAN
woman circle.jpg

The National Council of Catholic Women acts through its members to support, empower, and educate all Catholic women in spirituality, leadership, and service. NCCW programs respond with Gospel values to the need of the Church and society in the modern world.

The St. Theresa Council is an affiliate of the Atlanta Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women. All registered women of the parish are members of the CCW and there are no dues to be belong to this council.

Our group supports the charitable needs of the parish community and beyond by hosting supply drives for the local Pregnancy Resource Center, contributing to the annual Walk for Life fundraiser, preparing shoe boxes for shipping overseas via the Boxes of Joy Project, assist with the needs of the Parish School of Religion (PSR) and conduct fundraisers for other projects. The CCW also provides social activities such as an annual Christmas luncheon and chooses a fellow parishioner as Woman of the Year to be honored at the annual Archdiocese of Atlanta Recognition Day. In this way, we highlight a woman whose accomplishments and participation in parish activities personify the spirit of service.

We hold monthly meeting on the second Thursday of each month at 11am at the Parish Life Center and would like to encourage all ladies to prayerfully consider becoming active members.
